Types of Cargo Bikes

Longjohns

Longjohns have a large cargo box in front between the wheels. They are stable and can carry much weight, but are less suitable for tight spaces.

Longtails

Longtails are extended bicycles with cargo racks at the back. They are easier to handle than longjohns and are good for carrying kids and medium loads.

Trikes

Three-wheeled cargo bikes offer maximum stability and cargo space. However, the extra width requires more room.

Compact Bikes

Small, nimble cargo bikes for urban environments. They are easy to maneuver, but with lower cargo capacity.
